Rules

Dank Prison has an extensive rule list to keep the server fun and fair for everyone. Failure to follow rules may result in punishments.

Basic Rules List

Rule # Description
#1 Do Not Beg or Ask for Items — This includes spamming players to buy things from store and begging people to vote. This also includes things like starting donation parties and vote parties.
#2 You are only allowed one (1) Alt Account - Excessive Alts will be Banned from the Server. Continually logging in with excess Alts will result in more severe punishments.

You are only allowed to have a maximum of one (1) account logged into the server at a time.
If you get punished on one account, you may not use your alt to bypass the punishment or it will be increased.

#3 Do Not Advertise or Discuss Other Servers/their Gamemodes.
#4 Do not abuse Server Bugs. If you find a bug, report it immediately using the #report-bugs channel on the discord. Taking advantage of In-Game Bugs will result in a harsh punishment.

Do Not Use AFK Pools, Auto-Fishers, Auto-Relog, Mining Bots, Macros, Scripts, or anything to bypass the AFK-Auto Kick. This includes using any Minecraft bug that locks keys.

#5 Do not attempt to make IRL Deals — You are not allowed to sell/trade anything through Dank Prison.
#6 Do not use Mods/Clients that are not listed here — You can use Optifine, Badlion, Lunar, 5Zig and LabyMod. Other Clients will result in a Ban.
#7 Do not cause or continue Drama.
#8 Do not discuss or share anything inappropriate. This includes all 18+ content or content insinuating inappropriate topics.

Extended Rules List

Rule # Description
#1 #1.0: Mods/Clients that are not listed here are strictly prohibited. You can use Optifine, Badlion, Lunar, 5zig and LabyMod. NO OTHERS (Client options NOT allowed - No auto-reconnect, auto text (macros that open chat and input a command are allowed, where you have to press enter key))
#1.1 Trolling/Joking about using any hacked client will result in a ban.
#1.2 Repeatedly accusing someone of hacking/cheating in chat is not allowed. If you believe someone is breaking the server rules, use /report in game or the #report-player channel on discord and provide proper evidence of the misconduct.
#2 #2.0: Causing Drama is strictly prohibited — Do not start or continue with drama. This includes in discord, gang chat, any other discord server relating to Dank (official or not).
#2.1: Accusing Staff Members of not doing their job correctly is not allowed. If your feel a staff member is taking misguided actions, report said member to Dank420Girl#6775 on discord with evidence of abuse.
#2.2: Don’t bully new players for not understanding aspects of the server. Promote positive reinforcement and help provide useful information that can benefit them.
#2.3 Don't discuss your opinions on recent punishments. If you would like to ask about your punishment, DM a staff member.
#3 #3.0: You are only allowed one (1) Alt Account — Excessive Alts will be Banned from Server.
#3.1: Continually logging in with excess Alts will result in severe punishments.
#3.2: You are only allowed to have a maximum of one (1) account logged into the server at one time.
#4 #4.0: Begging or Asking for Items is not allowed. This includes spamming players to buy you things from the store, or begging people for ingame things.
#4.1: Boosting other players for their Monthly Tiers - Donating for items under another player's ingame name but giving the rewards to yourself is not allowed.
If you want to help other players with their Monthly Tiers, you must donate under their ingame name without the option of gifting; they must receive the item you are donating for.
#5 #5.0: Making Player Reports in bad faith or without proof is not allowed.
#5.1: Making bad faith Bug Reports or Bug Reports with no proof is not allowed.
#6 #6.0: Sharing your private information is not allowed.
#6.1 Disclosing other players' private information without their permission (doxxing) is not allowed.
#7 #7.0: Ban evading/mute evading is strictly prohibited.
#7.1: You are not allowed to use VPNs (Virtual Private Networks).
#8 #8.0: Chargebacks are strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.
#9 #9.0: IRL (In Real Life) trades are strictly prohibited.
#10 #10.0: Do not abuse server mechanics — No AFK Pools, Auto-Fishers, Auto-Relog, Mining Bots, Macros(see rule 1 for exception), or Bypassing AFK-Auto Kick.
#10.1: Abuse of the server setup in any way which creates an unfair advantage is not allowed.
#10.2: Abusing a Native Minecraft bug/glitch which creates an unfair advantage is not allowed.
#10.3: Abusing a Server Plugin bug/glitch which creates an unfair advantage is not allowed.
#10.4: Using Objects to hold keys down or mouse buttons down is against the rules.
#10.5: Using any form of Auto-Clicking or Mouse Recorder / Replay is strictly prohibited.
#10.6: Using any form of Automation is not allowed.
#10.7: Attempting to lag, crash, exploit, or compromise the server and/or other players is strictly prohibited.
#11 #11.0: Usage of inappropriate/offensive features on Minecraft accounts (e.g. skins) is not allowed.
#12 #12.0: Abusing Minecraft Multiplayer chat features in any way is not allowed.
#12.1: Only English is allowed in main chat (Non english is allowed in PMs and Gang chat).
#12.2: Naming your gang inappropriate names is not allowed.
#12.3: Naming your items inappropriate names is not allowed.
#12.4: Spamming a specific message/multiple messages is not allowed.
#12.5: Spamming Characters / Character Dragging / Excessive Caps is not allowed.
#12.6: Usage of chat formatting codes to mislead players is not allowed.
#12.7: Bypassing swear filter in any way is not allowed (Swearing is a donor feature).
#12.8: Swearing or cussing at other players is not allowed (Swearing is allowed when it's not directed towards another player).
#12.9: Joking about and/or encouraging others to break the rules is strictly prohibited.
#12.10: Advertising / discussing different Minecraft servers and gamemodes is not allowed.
#12.11: Promotion of YouTube/Twitch channels that contain appropriate DankPrison/DankParkour content is allowed.
#12.12: Spamming items or messaging to annoy others is not allowed.
#12.13: Fake Rewards links in chat are not allowed.
#13 #13.0: Sharing personal life problems is not allowed (This is not your therapy session, This is a Minecraft server. Please don’t talk about abuse, depression, medication, hospitalization, etc.).
#13.1: Death/Suicide/Self-harm threats are strictly prohibited.
#13.2: Encouraging or threatening suicide/self-harm in any way is strictly prohibited.
#13.3: Wishing death upon other people is strictly prohibited.
#13.4: Threatening to commit any form of inappropriate behavior, regardless of the intention, is not allowed.
#13.5: Blackmailing/Threatening other players in any way that could cause harm is not allowed.
#14 #14.0: Arguing with Staff in any way is not allowed.
#14.1: Inappropriate or disrespectful behavior towards staff or players is not allowed.
#14.2: Usage of prejudiced remarks/terms/slurs is not allowed.
#14.3: Harassment of staff or players is not allowed.
#14.4: Intentionally misleading other players to cause confusion is not allowed.
#14.5: Impersonation of staff or other players (including via /nick), regardless of the intention, is not allowed.
#15 #15.0: DDoS threats in all forms are strictly prohibited.
#15.1: Encouraging DDoS attacks in any form is strictly prohibited, regardless of the intention of the said action.
#16 #16.0: Sharing accounts is strictly prohibited.
#17 #17.0: Sharing any form of inappropriate content in any way is not allowed.
#17.1: Sharing screamer links is not allowed.
#17.2: Sharing pornographic/suggestive content of any kind is not allowed.
#17.3: Sharing any form of adult content is not allowed.
#17.4: Sharing any form of malicious content is not allowed.

PvP Rules List

Rule # Description
#1 #1.0: Gang Alliances are against the Rules.
#1.1: If you attempt to capture an outpost, you must treat all people equally when attacking players.
#1.2: Purposefully avoiding killing someone because you are friends is against the rules.
#1.3: Multiple gangs teaming up to accomplish a common goal is against the rules.
#2 #2.0: Purposely Launching Convoy Flares for others to claim is a form of boosting and is not allowed.
#3 #3.0: Asking players to go into PvP for free emblems is not allowed. Offering players free emblems from PvP is not allowed.
#4 #4.0: Logging onto an alt to avoid DBL is not allowed.
#5 #5.0: Don’t be a sore winner/loser after a fight
